Chen ChuanrenSE Asia and China Correspondent, Air Transport WorldMr. Chen is responsible for providing fast and accurate aviation content in Southeast Asia and China region in a daily basis as well as giving analysis and commentary on relevant aviation and defence topics. His expertise in defence covers the air, land and sea domain.
He also fronts the ATW Southeast Asia and China portfolio in areas of commercial aviation, reporting on financials statuses of airlines, network and route development as well as breaking stories such as aviation incidents. Prior joining AWN, Mr. Chen is a regular serviceman in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Air Defence and Operations Command. His roles include maintaining 24/7 air surveillance and air defence operations of Singapore’s airspace, executing search and rescue operations within the Singapore Flight Information Region as well as coordinating air traffic control with civilian counterparts. |
